Tapering cylindrical form. Painted inside and out with old dark red paint. The bands are painted green. Wire bail handle and a turned wooden grip, painted dark red. Small brass tacks hold the bands in place. The top band is somewhat loose. There is a distinctive diamond shaped metal cutout where the handle meets the pail. The other side is an old replacement piece of metal (pictured).
